Toy Share is open to families from the following school districts: Camp Hill, Carlisle, Cumberland Valley, East Pennsboro, Mechanicsburg, Northern York, South Middleton and West Shore.

We know that the holidays can be difficult, especially for those experiencing financial challenges. Our hope is to help make that burden lighter by giving you some extra support and cheer.

Toy Share is now an interactive experience for the entire family! Parents and children will attend this event together.  It is now required that you bring your elementary-age kids (age 5 to 12) along this year! We are excited to bless your children and look forward to meeting them.

Your time will start with a 30-minute, interactive Christmas program and then proceed to our Christmas Carnival featuring games and candy treats for prizes. The Carnival is where you will wait for your number to be called for shopping. When it is your turn to shop, you and your children will leave the Christmas Carnival. Your kids will go to a separate room where they will enjoy a snack and a movie while you shop for toys. Toys will be placed in black bags to preserve the surprise.

Once you as the parent arrive at the Toy Store to shop, it will be our pleasure to allow you to choose one free new toy per child (maximum of four children per family). Each family will also have an opportunity to receive one scooter or piece of athletic equipment per child and a bag of food containing items for three meals:

IMPORTANT DETAILS

• Children age 5 to 12 are now REQUIRED to attend with their parents. Whenever possible, other arrangements should be made for younger children below the age of 5, as we will not have child care available. 
• Please be sure to arrive on time at the beginning of your time slot. Doors will open 30 minutes prior. Late entries may not be accepted.
• Children and parents will begin with a short interactive Christmas program and then attend a Christmas Carnival while waiting to shop.  
• Each child will now receive one toy per child plus a scooter or piece of athletic equipment.  
• Threads Clothing Boutique will not be open during Toy Share this year, but you are invited to schedule an appointment to visit Threads during any one of the four days that it is open.  
• Toy Share occurs on  just two days. 
• We will not be able to reschedule your appointment if you miss your time slot.
• We are focused on serving the eight neighboring school districts listed above. We are no longer able to serve Dauphin County and limited portions of York County.  Please do not register if you do not reside in one of the approved school districts. Proof of current address will be required.

Registration Details

• Register using the EXACT name and address on your current photo ID. It must be from a qualified school district.
• The person who registered will be required to show a current photo ID and must be present (GIFTS WILL NOT BE RELEASED TO ANYONE ELSE).
• One registration per family -- This means that children may not be shopped for by more than one parent or grandparent. There is a maximum of four children to be shopped for per registration.
• Registered children must be 12 years old or younger. (We are sorry, but we will not be able to provide gifts for those who are older than 12.)
• Please plan to be at Toy Share for the entire 2 1/2 hour period that you choose. 
• Parents must stay with their children at all times (with the exception of the actual shopping time). During shopping, kids will be in the snack bar area watching a movie during that 30-minute timeframe. Gifts will be bagged in black trash bags to help keep the surprise.  
• Currently, only parents or legal guardians may register. Grandparents may sign up for the waiting list, and we will contact you if/when space becomes available.
• Parking lot attendants will be available to help you load your car. 

This is the only opportunity you will have to shop. We are sorry, but we are not able to reschedule your appointment. Not showing up for/missing your appointment may cause you to be disqualified from participating in future Toy Share opportunities.
